🖥️Issue 1: No Image on TV or Screen

  • Check power: ensure the screen is on.
  • Check HDMI: plug HDMI into laptop and TV (not PC port).
  • Use remote to change TV/source input.
  • Press Windows + P and choose 'Duplicate'.
  • Restart laptop and screen if needed.
  • Try a different HDMI cable or port.

🔊Issue 2: No Sound / Audio Not Playing

  • Click speaker icon in taskbar and select correct device.
  • Ensure it's not muted.
  • Test with a YouTube video or sound file.
  • Check power and cable connection of external speakers.

💻Issue 3: Laptop Not Displaying on Screen

  • Reconnect HDMI to laptop.
  • Press Windows + P and choose 'Duplicate'.
  • Adjust refresh rate to 60Hz if needed.
  • Try a spare screen or different cable.

📂Issue 4: PowerPoint Won’t Open from OneDrive

  • Use Office Online to open the file.
  • Download file to desktop and open locally.
  • Restart OneDrive if file doesn’t sync.

📹Issue 5: Teams / Poly Bar AV Issues

  • Check HDMI/USB between Poly bar and PC.
  • In Teams, go to Settings > Devices and select the correct mic/speaker/camera.
  • Restart Teams or use a different device.

  • ✔ Check all cable connections carefully.
  • ✔ Restart the device if unsure.
  • ✔ Use the correct input source.
  • ✔ Ask for help if you're unsure.
  • ✔ Leave equipment as you found it.

  • ✘ Don’t yank or force cables.
  • ✘ Don’t plug HDMI cables into PC output ports when using a laptop.
  • ✘ Don’t adjust advanced settings unless instructed.
  • ✘ Don’t assume the equipment is faulty immediately.
  • ✘ Don’t leave rooms without reporting unresolved problems.
